Zantech is looking for a talented
Acquisition Management Support III
to contribute to the success of our upcoming Logistics and Sustainment Support Services contract for an Onsite role based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.
The
Acquisition Management Support III
will play a crucial role in providing acquisition program management and analysis for planning and execution of federal programs at different ACAT levels and all program life cycle phases through understanding of DoDI 5000.02, acquisition streamlining initiatives, and performance metrics analysis.
The Acquisition Management Support III will provide acquisition advice, reviews program documentation, coordinates approval tracking, partners in efficiency initiatives, provide POM/WSR expertise, reviews program progress, and supports knowledge management. Impact: Ensures acquisition excellence and regulatory compliance across programs.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Provide acquisition advice based on comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, laws, and regulatory requirements
Review and provide guidance for program documentation updates per U.S. Code Title 10, DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, AR 70-1
Coordinate, identify, prepare, review, and track approval of Acquisition Strategy Reports, APBs, and ADMs for MDRs
Partner with clients in Army and DoD efficiency, cost saving, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Support Better Buying Power efforts including Will/Should Cost initiatives
Support Lean Six Sigma projects, Value Engineering initiatives, Business Process Reengineering efforts
Provide strategic programmatic integration expertise for POM Reviews and WSRs
Review and analyze program progress and fund utilization reports
Identify areas where programs are not progressing as planned (cost, schedule, performance)
Review Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs)
Reviewing and modify policies, guidance, and procedures in program management, acquisition, cost, and efficiencies
Address applicability and relevance of OSD and ASA(ALT) requirements
Support knowledge management efforts: create, share, use, and manage CPE knowledge
Ensure identification, documentation, mapping and understanding of CPE practices, methods and processes
Ensure identification, handling, accumulation, assessment and sharing of lessons learned
Ensure identification, documentation, collection and sharing of SME knowledge and information
Prepare and review reports for senior level management
Work with Program/Product managers and DoA Systems Coordinators to ensure programs have required acquisition documentation
Ensure CPE inquiries and directives are carried out including periodic reviews, monitoring, and lessons learned
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
Experience across multiple acquisition phases required
Understanding of POM and WSR processes required
Industry standard for Acquisition Management Support III: 10+ years of DoD acquisition program management experience across multiple ACATs and life cycle phases.
Experience providing:
Acquisition advice based on comprehensive knowledge of principles/policies/laws/regulations
Reviewing and guiding program documentation updates per Title 10/DoDD 5000.01/DoDI 5000.02/AR 70-1,
Coordinating and tracking program documentation (Acquisition Strategy Reports, APBs, ADMs) for MDRs

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Industry standard)
Master's degree in relevant field (Industry standard)
DAWIA Program Management Level III (Industry standard)
DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level III (Industry standard)
PMP (Industry standard)
Lean Six Sigma certification (Industry standard)
Required Security Clearance:
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret trust or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
