is seeking a dedicated and safety-driven

Safety Coordinator

to lead and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols across our utility-scale solar projects. This essential role ensures regulatory compliance and promotes a proactive safety culture that aligns with Power Ray’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will have strong field safety experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead by example in dynamic project environments.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and enforce site safety standards, protocols, and Power Ray’s safety culture

Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and audits to proactively identify and mitigate risks

Lead safety orientations and toolbox talks for new and existing crew members

Complete and maintain safety documentation including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), incident reports, and inspection logs

Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and applicable local/state/federal laws

Support and conduct root cause investigations for incidents and near misses; develop corrective actions

Serve as a key field representative of the HSE department, collaborating with supervisors and field teams

Communicate safety goals, expectations, and performance updates to crews and leadership

Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of Power Ray’s safety program and standards

Qualifications

2+ years of safety experience in construction; utility-scale solar preferred

OSHA 30 Construction Certification (required)

Additional certifications such as CHST, First Aid/CPR are a plus

Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site protocols

Proven leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time to project sites across the U.S.

Benefits

Hourly Pay: $25–$30/hour, DOE

Per Diem: $100/day while on the road
