Full Time Content Communication Specialist Avamere 25115 SW Parkway, Suite B, Wilsonville, Oregon 97070 Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, NOT a remote position, can be hybrid The Content Specialist creates and publishes impactful content across multiple channels to drive engagement, strengthen communication, and enhance brand connection.
This role produces a wide range of content for internal and external audiences, including newsletters, videos, social media content, marketing materials, and more. Success in this position requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with department leaders and teams.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Create, edit, and distribute employee communications, including emails and monthly newsletters
Strategize, create, and manage email marketing campaigns
Produce monthly newsletters, including marketing newsletter, employee newsletter, and marketing newsletters for senior living communities
Develop content for marketing collateral such as ads, flyers, website updates, and other materials
Assist in the production of videos from pre-production through post-production, including planning, filming, editing, and publishing (production skills are a bonus, video editing skills are highly preferred)
Support management of multiple social media profiles, including content production, scheduling, and reviewing submissions
Edit and post videos for social media, including reels, and shorts
Monitor and respond to online reviews in alignment with brand voice and guidelines
Write blog articles for company and community platforms
Monitor and organize department email inboxes
Attends company meetings as requested
Other tasks that may be assigned by your manager.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, video production, or a related field
Graphic design skills and competency in Adobe Express, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Adobe InDesign or the programs similar to
Prefer demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels
Excellent written and verbal skills
Must consistently demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
The ability to work successfully as part of a team
Ability to exercise independent judgment in completing assignments
