Job Summary
The Assistant Strength Coach will:
develop and implement athletes’ physical profile
assist with the daily weight room operations
assist with football student‑athlete accountability and follow‑up as directed by the Coordinator of Football Performance and/or Head Football Strength Coach
Other duties include:
assisting with daily speed, agility, and quickness workouts for student‑athletes
implement daily supplement program for student‑athletes
ensure that the strength and conditioning facility is in proper working order at all times
responsible for seeking any weight room repair and maintenance.
This position must ensure proper licenses maintained through either the CSCCA (Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association) or the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association). Appropriate licenses would include SCCC, MSCC, or CSCS.
The Assistant Strength Coach must comply with NCAA, SEC, and University rules and policies.
