Biermann Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is expanding and looking for a hands-on, highly experienced HVAC Technician ready to take on a leadership role in the field. This position is ideal for a seasoned HVAC professional who thrives on challenging work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is ready to oversee projects, quote repairs, and mentor field technicians—all while staying tools-on and involved in the work. What You’ll Do: * Perform and oversee installation, service, and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems
* Lead by example on job sites—working alongside and guiding technicians and apprentices
* Diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems with precision
* Quote repair and replacement work, provide recommendations, and communicate directly with customers
* Ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and code standards
* Coordinate with office and project management staff to plan and complete jobs efficiently
* Support and develop team members through mentorship and on-the-job leadership Qualifications: * Massachusetts oil burners License (required)
* EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) (required)
* Sheet Metal License (preferred)
* Minimum 10+ years of field experience in HVAC installation and service
* Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations while staying hands-on
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial heating and cooling systems
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
