Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager. This role involves overseeing the financial operations of multiple investment entities, primarily focused on real estate and multifamily development projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for multiple investment entities.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and support audits as needed.
- Handle account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Record journal entries and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and bill.com to manage financial workflows.
- Apply construction accounting principles to track and report on project costs.
- Oversee financial activities related to real estate and condominium investments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and bill.com.
- Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation.
- Expertise in month-end close processes and journal entries.
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation and audit procedures.
- Knowledge of construction accounting and real estate investment practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
