Accounting Analyst Job at Hoxton Circle in El Segundo

Our client is a growing, nationally active commercial real estate investment firm focused on delivering high-quality financial operations and supporting strategic business initiatives. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting management with day-to-day and strategic financial activities. This role reports to the Controller and works closely with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable and handle credit card reconciliations using Concur.

• Assist with managing the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

• Support month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested by management.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and drive operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or investment management.

• Experience with Concur and other accounting systems.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in an in-person office environment and contribute positively to team culture.

• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial real estate or investment management accounting.

• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling.
