Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and stabilize on-site warehouse operations in a fast-growing DTC e-commerce environment. This role is fully responsible for warehouse execution, people management, daily operational planning, and cost efficiency. Essential Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Execution
- Own day-to-day warehouse operations, including fulfillment (pick, pack, ship), receiving and put-away, inventory control and cycle counts, assembly, returns, and escalation.
- Ensure stable and timely order fulfillment in a high-volume DTC environment (3,000–5,000+ orders/day during peak).
- Act as the primary on-site decision-maker to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
People Management & Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, senior leads, and frontline teams.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and shift coverage.
- Build a culture of accountability, execution, safety, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse best practices.
Inventory Accuracy & Physical Control
- Own physical inventory accuracy, including receiving accuracy, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
- Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
- Work with the systems/process owner to ensure physical operations align with system logic.
Cost Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a strong cost-awareness mindset in daily warehouse operations.
- Partner with data, finance, or analytics teams to review labor productivity and cost-per-order metrics, and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational waste.
- Translate data insights into practical, on-the-floor improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor efficiency, space utilization, and damage and rework reduction.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations systems, process teams (systems, order flow, IT coordination), supply chain, logistics, and customer service departments.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback from warehouse operations to support better planning and customer experience.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing mid-size warehouse teams (30–60+ employees).
- Hands‑on leadership style with strong floor presence.
- Solid understanding of warehouse KPIs, fulfillment operations, and inventory control.
- Experience in DTC or e‑commerce environments.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, seasonal, and high‑pressure operations.
- Experience working with WMS / ERP systems.
- Experience partnering with data or finance teams on cost improvement initiatives.
- Background in continuous improvement, lean, and 5S practices.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to stand, bend, squat, stoop, and turn at the waist for long periods in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment, as well as work indoors at a desk. Must be able to operate a computer for prolonged periods and lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted, with moderate walking, standing, and lifting throughout the workday. Job Location and Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
- 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX 77377.
- Monday through Friday.
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
- The salary range is $80,000 - $100,000.
- Flexible Paid Time Off.
- 12 PTO days per year, accrued bi-weekly, with incremental increases annually.
