Overnight Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Overnight Maintenance Technician to join our team in Austin, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility during night hours by performing essential maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

1. Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
2. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to minimize downtime
3. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues
4. Complete minor repairs and coordinate with specialized technicians for complex problems
5. Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
7. Collaborate with day shift personnel to address ongoing maintenance needs
8. Assist in implementing energy-saving measures and sustainable practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using various maintenance tools and equipment
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders when necessary
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) preferred
