Position Highlights •
Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT only – CRT not accepted) •
Experience: 2+ years required (first-time travelers accepted) •
Primary Unit: Level III NICU + Adult Critical Care • ️ Schedule: Every other weekend | No call •
Floating: Within hospital/scope of practice; may float to Piedmont Macon North •
Charting: Epic •
Certifications Required: RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, GA State License
⚙️ Clinical Requirements & Skills •
NICU Expertise: Independent neonatal critical care (≥22 wga), intubation, arterial blood gases, high-risk deliveries •
Adult Critical Care: Intubation, airway management, arterial line insertion • ️ Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, HFOV, weaning, alarm troubleshooting •
Med Administration: Albuterol, Pulmicort, Nitric Oxide (INo), Racemic Epi, Tobramycin & more •
Equipment: Puritan Bennett, Viasys Vela, Avea, GE Carescape
