Job Description:
We are looking for QA ETL Tester – Remote / Telecommute for our client in Aliso Viejo, CA
Pay Range: $35hr – $40hr
- 4 to 6 Years.
- Note-Please make sure relevant experience with Microsoft Databases technical stack is strongly demonstrated.
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to design comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across application and data platforms.
- Validate data mapping, transformations, aggregations, and business rules across source systems, staging layers, data warehouses, and reporting layers.
- Conduct data integrity checks, reconciliations, and consistency validations using SQL and other data validation techniques.
- Test and validate SSIS packages, ETL pipelines, and data extracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
- Validate SSRS reports, BI outputs, and downstream deliverables, ensuring alignment with warehouse data and business expectations.
- Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes, data transformations, batch jobs, and scheduled workflows, including error handling and logging.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, providing clear test results, risk assessments, recommendations, and contributing to continuous QA process improvements.
- Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate end-to-end healthcare workflows and data flows.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, collaborating closely with developers and data engineers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Execute manual testing for web applications, Windows-based desktop applications, backend/data services, extracts, and reporting solutions.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Maintain thorough test documentation, including test plans, test evidence, defect reports, and sign-off artifacts to support quality assurance and audits.
