Job Details

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Firmware Platform, to drive the evolution of Hubble’s embedded developer experience—from SDKs and provisioning workflows to identity, logging, and chip integrations. You’ll define how developers build on Hubble-enabled devices, bridging the gap between embedded software, network infrastructure, and cloud APIs.

This role sits at the intersection of firmware and platform engineering. You’ll own the "why" and the "what" behind our device SDKs, provisioning flows, and developer-facing tools. You’ll partner closely with firmware engineers, hardware teams, and developer relations to create smooth, reliable, and scalable embedded integration experiences.

What You’ll Do
Lead the product roadmap for Hubble’s firmware platform, including embedded SDKs, provisioning and authentication systems, device logging/debugging, and chip-vendor integrations.
Translate technical and developer needs into clear product requirements, milestones, and success metrics.
Work directly with firmware, hardware, backend, and SDK teams to ensure seamless end-to-end device onboarding and operation.
Define and evolve embedded developer workflows—from first firmware flash to production deployment.
Collaborate with chip vendors and module partners to streamline integration and certification of Hubble-enabled hardware.
Partner with design and developer experience teams to make embedded SDKs intuitive, well-documented, and easy to adopt.
Establish instrumentation, telemetry, and observability for device performance, connectivity, and provisioning reliability.
Balance feature velocity with firmware stability and maintainability in highly constrained environments.

What You Bring
5–10 years of technical product management experience, including deep familiarity with firmware, embedded systems, or IoT devices.
Proven success driving execution across cross-functional technical teams (firmware, hardware, backend, developer experience).
Hands-on understanding of embedded developer workflows (build systems, provisioning, device identity, logging/debugging).
Strong technical fluency—able to navigate conversations with firmware and systems engineers at the implementation level.
Experience managing SDKs, APIs, or developer tools used by external partners.

Bonus: experience with chip-vendor integration, BLE/LoRa/Satellite connectivity, or embedded Linux/RTOS environments.

Candidate Must-Haves
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (ITAR requirement)
Located in Seattle, San Francisco, or Remote (PST time zone)
