$129,465 – $168,032
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) – Operating Room
to lead and support a high-performing surgical team. The ANM ensures delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while managing staffing, budgets, and departmental operations. This role serves as a mentor, coach, and leader, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
Responsibilities Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, and workflow. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Develop and manage departmental goals, budgets, and staffing FTEs. Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor staff; maintain compliance with hospital policies. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based standards of care. Provide supervision and occasional direct patient care as needed. Promote a culture of safety, shared governance, and service excellence.
Qualifications Current New York State RN license. BSN required or actively enrolled in a BSN program with a graduation plan. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Prior perioperative or OR leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong skills in staff management, budgeting, and clinical operations.
