Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to hire an experienced Human Resources professional. This role will serve as a key individual contributor within HR, handling a wide range of operational and strategic responsibilities across benefits, payroll, employee relations, and HR systems. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with global leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and ancillary plans, in partnership with senior HR leadership.
- Coordinate and lead the employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for new hires.
- Plan and execute the annual benefits open enrollment cycle, including employee communication and vendor coordination.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and resolve coverage or claims issues by working with brokers and carriers.
- Support payroll processing for employees and international populations, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain employee records and workflows within the HRIS, including new hire setup and ongoing data management.
- Assist with immigration‑related processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Address employee relations matters by providing guidance, investigating concerns, and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Compile and review HR and payroll data to identify trends and support leadership decision‑making.
- Act as the primary HR resource during periods when senior HR leadership is unavailable.
- Promote organizational values and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
- Demonstrated stability in prior roles, with a history of meaningful tenure.
- Prior experience within financial services or a related professional services environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic performance preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance day‑to‑day HR operations while also contributing to process improvement and strategic initiatives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with benefits administration, payroll, immigration processes, and employee relations is highly desirable.
