What we are looking for

• Flexible schedule, available to work Saturdays and as a vacation fill-in when needed
• Associate College Degree preferred, High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience on a manufacturing food production line
• Prior supervisory experience dealing with team member concerns while maintaining professionalism and teamwork
• Knowledge of how all production equipment operates (including ERP system) and ability to function efficiently at any line position
• Ability to direct and motivate team members and ensure adherence to company values and behaviors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, calmness under pressure, and ability to handle stress
• May be required to work some Saturdays and/or Sundays, based on plant needs
• Standing for long periods, bending, twisting, lifting up to 70 pounds

What you will do

• Continual monitoring of floor, equipment, product, and team members to ensure production runs smoothly, including working line during breaks and lunches
• Oversee set up and shut down of production equipment and raw materials at the beginning and end of shift following established procedures
• Schedule and oversee training of new team members, both WCD and temporaries
• Supervise team members to ensure they follow all policies, procedures, SOPs, and GMPs, complying with safety guidelines; assume responsibilities of Production Supervisor in their absence
• Check all finished products for proper pallet usage, correct number per code date, proper slot placement, and correct pallet sheets

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior experience on a manufacturing food production line
• Prior supervisory experience dealing with team member concerns while maintaining professionalism and teamwork
• Knowledge of how all production equipment operates (including ERP system) and ability to function efficiently at any line position
• Directing and motivating team members, ensuring adherence to GMPs and company values and behaviors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; calmness under pressure, handling stress
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make on-the-spot decisions to keep equipment running
• Ability to successfully complete on-the-job training
• Flexible to work hours to meet plant needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
