Manufacturing Technician
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, as well as some testing and repair of electronic products and mechanical assemblies. You will work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. You will provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. Responsibilities may include testing, modifying, reworking, repairing, and building electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Work from standard wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
- Perform related manufacturing processes.
- Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
- Perform Key Performance Indicators: Meet production deadlines, ensure quality of finished product (pass/fail rates), and ensure compliance outcomes.
- Ability to read, and possibly develop, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, and direct personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties.
Essential Skills:
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience handling small delicate components using ESD practices.
- Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus.
- Experience in the safe handling of chemicals.
- Proficiency in various computer applications, including Access and Excel.
- Experience with MRP is a plus.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to provide a copy of high school diploma, which can be from a foreign country.
- Proficiency in production, assembly, cleanroom environments, soldering, reading blueprints, complex assembly, using hand tools, performing rework, repair, and disassembly.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
