Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation
ENGLAND PONTICELLO & ST. CLAIR (EPS) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. EPS has over 60 years of experience in California, with success from the Trial level to SCOTUS. The firm seeks associates with 0-4 years of litigation experience in civil liability defense, employment law defense, workers' compensation subrogation, LHWCA defense and workers' compensation practice areas.
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Duties
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Assist in litigation processes by preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Conduct depositions, discovery and appear at motions and court appearances.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California bar.
Proven experience in legal research, writing and court appearances in liability, employment or subrogation matters.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
