DescriptionThis position is responsible for researching and processing authorization requests along with communicating authorization approvals and denials to providers, schedulers, and billing office. This position also requires data entry of authorization requests.SkillsClaims processing, Customer service, Insurance, Health care, insurance claim, prior authorization, Medical billing, Benefit verification, Medical, Clerical, ClaimAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED equivalent required. Minimum one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Experience with medical terminology and various insurance products and requirements desirable. Word processing and computer experience required.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
