We are preparing the commercial strategy for the launch of a
secured loan product (secured by real estate)
in Spain and are looking for a
Head of Commercial
to shape our market entry and commercial direction. Location
: Remote from Spain Key Responsibilities Develop the go-to-market and commercial strategy , including competitive landscape assessment and customer segmentation. Define acquisition strategy and marketing channels , assessing CAC benchmarks, channel performance, and digital/offline mix. Analyse secured-lending portfolio behaviour , including repayment trends, delinquency patterns, early repayment, and customer repeat activity. Assess typical market characteristics
such as loan amounts, term structures, utilisation patterns, and conversion rates. Build commercial and P&L assumptions , covering revenue drivers, pricing logic, and unit economics. Benchmark pricing approaches and positioning , including risk-based structures and fee models. Develop key commercial partnerships , such as brokers, real-estate intermediaries, and appraisal services. Optimise the acquisition funnel , mapping conversion stages, drop-offs, and key commercial KPIs. Key Requirements Proven leadership in
commercial strategy for secured lending, home equity, mortgage, or high-value consumer credit products . Deep expertise in acquisition strategy, pricing models, revenue drivers, and portfolio economics . Excellent organizational and analytical skills , capable of structuring complex commercial models. Strong communication and collaboration abilities , with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Fluency in English and Spanish
(both written and verbal).
