Data Modeler
to design, develop, and maintain high-quality data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate business requirements into logical and physical data models. Responsibilities
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms Analyze business requirements and convert them into structured data solutions Ensure data models support scalability, performance, and data integrity Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and BI teams Define data standards, naming conventions, and best practices Perform data profiling and gap analysis Maintain documentation for data models and metadata Support ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing initiatives Review and optimize existing data models for efficiency Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (ER diagrams, normalization, dimensional modeling) Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Lucidchart, etc.) Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) Experience with data warehouses and data lakes Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus Preferred Skills
Experience with Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark) Understanding of master data management (MDM) Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments General
