Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced
Structural Steel Detailer
to join a growing team. This role focuses on detailing
structural steel and miscellaneous metal components , producing accurate fabrication and erection drawings based on architectural and structural design documents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of
AISC detailing standards , experience working in a fabrication environment, and proficiency with 2D and/or 3D detailing software.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals
Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications
Apply AISC steel construction detailing standards and best practices
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and constructability of all drawings
Minimum Qualifications
Working knowledge of AISC steel construction detailing standards
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
High attention to detail and organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computer applications including Excel, email, internet tools, and PDF/image management software
Experience with SolidWorks, Tekla, or AutoCAD (preferred)
