Marketing Statement WMATA is currently seeking a Manager, Integrated Marketing to support the Marketing department, a strategic marketing leader who brings ideas to life and moves seamlessly from vision to execution. This role is designed for a self-directed, creative thinker who can step in, take the lead, and deliver results with minimal oversight while navigating complex, across multiple departments and environments.

Job Description The Manager drives integrated, end-to-end campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels ensuring each initiative is cohesive, innovative, and aligned with organizational priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Manager translates executive vision into compelling marketing strategies that resonate with audiences and elevate brand impact of WMATA. With a strong sense in market trends, audience insights, and performance data, the Manager continuously refines strategy, fuels innovation, and improves operational effectiveness. Equally important, this role mentors and inspires teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement while pushing the organization’s marketing capabilities forward. This position is based at WMATA Headquarters in LEnfant Plaza and follows a hybrid schedule of four (4) days in-office and one (1) day remote.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or related field

Minimum Experience

Minimum nine (9) years of integrated (collaborative), marketing experience, ideally in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) to include three (3) years of supervisory experience

Experience serving as a senior marketing leader or deputy to a Director/VP-level role

Minimum Certification/Licensure

N/A

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in marketing or related field

Summary The Manager, Integrated Marketing & Strategy leads the development and execution of omni-channel marketing strategies, serving as a key strategic partner to the Director of Marketing. The incumbent drives cross-functional alignment, oversees integrated campaigns, and ensures marketing initiatives deliver measurable impact across all channels.

Essential Functions

Owns and leads the integrated marketing calendar and campaign roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and executive vision.

Oversees end-to-end campaign development across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution.

Acts as a senior advisor on marketing strategy, providing guidance to leadership and influencing decisions across departments.

Serves as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with corporate objectives.

Champions innovation and operational excellence, driving process improvements and mentoring team members to elevate performance.

Leverages market research, audience insights, and performance metrics to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and measure success.

Mentors and inspires team members, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Other Duties

Maintains and promotes awareness and accountability with safety policies and procedures while performing job functions. Promotes a positive safety culture and encourages reporting of safety concerns consistent with our Agency Safety Plan, other regulatory requirements within the Safety Management System and just culture principles.
