The Tax Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for all phases of client engagements including primary client relationship maintenance, proactive management of tax compliance, tax advisory services, and developing and coaching staff. The role delivers exceptional client service, maintains strong client relationships, supports practice development, expands services to existing clients, and assists in recruiting and retaining team members. Candidates must understand and manage firm risk, review complex tax returns, continually grow technical knowledge, and provide value‑added tax planning ideas to clients.
Seeking Candidates With Expertise In The Areas Listed Below
High net worth individuals, their personal tax returns, trust returns, and gift & estate planning
Privately held businesses, including partnerships, S Corporations, and/or C Corporations
Private equity backed portfolio companies
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience including technical tax consulting, research, and implementation of planning strategies.
Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising multiple direct reports and reviewing their work product.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
Active CPA license.
Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
