Position Type Full Time (Note: During slow periods, team members may be sent home early; during peak periods, team members may be asked to perform overtime.)
Job Summary We are seeking a warehouse manager capable of a) fabricating HVAC duct metal and b) determining curb measurements/roof pitch for unit replacements. In this role, you will assist in filling and monitoring customer orders.
Responsibilities
Verify that all items for customer order are available
Construct/fabricate those items not available using existing templates (e.g., t-wyes, ceiling/floor boxes, side outs)
Layout, measure, mark dimensions on metal according to template, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers
Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut form, punch, drill or otherwise form and assemble metal components
Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into product
Drills and punches holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets
Adhere to customer timelines
Calculate curb dimensions to include roof pitch so units can be replaced. Train team members to do same
Qualifications
HVAC knowledge
Bi-lingual - Spanish/English
Previous experience as Fabricator
Previous experience calculating curb dimensions
Forklift certification
Experience operating heavy machinery
Strong math skills
Highly detail-oriented
Strong organizational and time management skills
Critical Thinking
