The ideal candidate will work in environmental remediation, engineering and related services, with experience in engineering design, report writing, and project management for petroleum-impacted site restoration projects. Experience with remediation of solvent and PFAS compounds is a plus. The candidate will complete projects on time and within budget and scope, and will manage projects up to $500K aggregate value. This is a HYBRID role

reporting to our Jacksonville, FL office or our Knoxville, TN office with 10% travel required for projects. Salary range is $93,000 to $135,000 DOE. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage multiple low-complexity soil and groundwater remediation projects. Prepare remediation system designs and supervise implementation, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems. Coordinate with regulatory agencies. Manage ASL field and construction teams and external subcontractors. Manage project finances. Manage schedules to ensure deliverables and budgets are achieved. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering. Florida Environmental or Civil Professional Engineer’s License, or ability to obtain through reciprocity a Florida PE license within 6 months. 5–10 years of experience in environmental remediation and consulting. Experience in soil and groundwater remediation system design and implementation at petroleum sites. Basic project management knowledge and willingness to grow through mentoring and training. Experience working with the FDEP. Travel to project sites, estimated at 30 percent annually. Preferred Qualifications

HAZWOPER certificate (40-hour) and annual refresher. First Aid and CPR training. USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management certificate. Strong collaboration and straightforward communication with openness to feedback. Good presentation skills. Willingness to work on projects outside remediation (e.g., SPCC Plan development and civil infrastructure). Additional Qualifying Factors

Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check results. If applicable to the contract, obtain the appropriate clearance levels to access military installations. Necessary Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. Office work involves extensive computer use; outdoor work includes exposure to heat, cold, weather, and potentially wildlife.
