Our client is a
leading civil and structural engineering firm
providing design, consulting, and project management services across commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. The company is recognized for its collaborative, multi-discipline approach and commitment to high-quality engineering solutions, including innovative structural design and sustainable practices. Responsibilities
Lead the design of structural projects, including buildings, concrete tanks, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures. Perform structural analysis and design computations to ensure safety and code compliance. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and client communications. Represent the firm at public meetings or client presentations. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on complex projects. Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Assist with business development and proposal preparation. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan. Minimum 5 years of structural design experience. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE). Proficiency with structural design software (e.g., RAM Structural System, ETABS, RISA, AutoCAD, Revit Structure). Design experience in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry structural systems. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers. Multi-discipline project experience. Exposure to business development or client-facing roles. Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $125,000 - $130,000 Year-end performance/profit-sharing bonus: 10-15% 401(k) match up to 4.25% ESOP or profit-sharing benefits (where applicable) Opportunities for professional development
