A growing life sciences organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role works closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely closes, and meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain general ledger, balance sheet accounts, and fixed assets Assist with monthly close, financial statements, and internal reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives Review employee expense reports and assist with audits or special projects Qualifications
3+ years of accounting experience CPA preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar ERP systems Advanced Excel skills 401(k) with company match Paid time off Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
