How You Keep Quality Tight
Perform visual inspection of electronic cards, sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure products meet established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
Utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids to ensure products meet specifications.
Ensure that all required process operations have been performed on the product being inspected.
Enter all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
Notify the appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels.
Provide timely feedback to manufacturing when a non‑conforming product is identified.
Accurately complete all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.
Perform process audits and assist manufacturing with interpreting quality and workmanship standards.
Assist with the disposition of all non‑conforming materials or products.
