Job Summary The Alpine County Unified School District seeks highly qualified applicants who would like to join a school that has a small community atmosphere among families and staff.
Requirements / Qualifications Residency Requirement: This is a single district, single county office of education superintendent position. The district superintendent will be expected to run for the County Superintendent of Schools position, and this requires establishing residency within Alpine County.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution is required.
• Master’s degree desirable.
• At least five years of teaching experience preferred.
• Valid teaching credential, including all courses necessary to meet credential requirement.
• Valid California administrative credential.• Administrative and site management experience required.
