A global media and entertainment leader is seeking a
Design Lead
to drive the product vision, shape user experience strategy, and lead cross-functional design execution for a high-impact enterprise platform. This role is perfect for a senior design leader who can balance strategy, hands‑on design, and collaboration across product, engineering, and data teams. About the Role
As the Design Lead, you will act as a strategic thought partner and hands‑on design expert, guiding end‑to‑end product experience across multiple workstreams. You’ll set the product’s UX vision, lead research and design execution, and ensure delivery of production‑ready materials with speed and quality. This is a highly collaborative role working with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and senior stakeholders to build an integrated, data‑driven platform. What You’ll Do:
Champion the Product Vision
Define the UX strategy and long‑term design direction aligned with business and product goals. Guide the evolution of the platform toward an integrated system leveraging predictive analytics and advanced user experience orchestration. Lead Design Execution
Own iterative design research (generative + evaluative) to influence product backlog and inform design decisions. Deliver detailed user stories, flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity designs. Influence acceptance criteria, prioritization, and overall UX strategy within Agile ceremonies. Drive Operational Excellence
Lead the POD design team in building, maintaining, and improving the design system and design ops processes. Ensure UX consistency, efficiency, and design quality across workstreams. Partner closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure successful design implementation. Facilitate technical and design discussions across PODs to maintain best‑in‑class standards and consistency. Promote design maturity, HCD practices, and accessibility across the organization. Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary UX voice during sprint demos, presentations, and leadership reviews. Ensure adherence to accessibility, UX standards, and design governance. Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years leading design teams
with strong player‑coach abilities. 8+ years of UX/Product Design experience
with mastery in Figma (portfolio required). Proven ability to drive innovation, solve complex problems, and deliver high‑quality work in fast‑paced environments. Deep experience working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and data teams. Expertise with:
Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 . Nice to Have
Background in Finance, Media, or Entertainment. Knowledge of software design/development lifecycles. Skills in
data visualization
or
rapid prototyping . Ability to work with large datasets and translate insights into UX decisions. Seniority level
