Sr. Civil Engineer – Municipal Infrastructure & Project Leadership
Join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact municipal infrastructure projects. Lead major initiatives from pursuit through construction, guiding a team of engineers, collaborating with public sector clients, and representing the firm in community and board settings.
What You’ll Do
Manage full project lifecycle for municipal engineering projects including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivisions, land development, and utility design
Oversee capital improvement projects for public sector clients, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Develop project work plans, budgets, and construction cost estimates
Review and approve project plans, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of engineering and construction issues
Represent the firm at municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings
Communicate project updates to clients, public officials, and community stakeholders
Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical skills and professional growth
Support business development through client relationships, proposals, and pursuit of new opportunities
What You Bring
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering; NJ PE required
6+ years of progressive experience managing municipal infrastructure or land development projects
Strong site development experience preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; GIS and Hydroflow experience a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to represent the firm effectively in public and client-facing settings
