Senior Construction Recruitment Specialist We are seeking an experienced and proactive Pre-Construction Manager to lead all pre‑construction efforts for commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects across the Dallas market. This role is pivotal in setting projects up for success, requiring expertise in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and client collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure every project is thoroughly planned, clearly defined, and ready for seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all pre‑construction activities, including budgeting, conceptual and detailed estimating, scope development, and early‑stage project planning.

Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams to clarify design intent and ensure project requirements are fully understood and documented.

Conduct site assessments, due diligence, and feasibility studies to identify constraints, risks, and opportunities.

Develop comprehensive project schedules, cost models, procurement strategies, and logistical plans to guide the transition to construction.

Manage the design and pre‑bid process, including preparing bid packages, soliciting subcontractor pricing, analyzing proposals, and leading pre‑bid meetings.

Support value engineering initiatives by recommending cost‑saving alternatives, constructability improvements, and risk mitigation measures.

Participate in design meetings and provide input on materials, systems, sequencing, and overall project methodology.

Prepare presentations and deliverables for internal leadership and client meetings; contribute to project proposals and RFP responses.

Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners to ensure accurate pricing and reliable market intelligence.

Ensure all pre‑construction procedures comply with company standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to facilitate a smooth handoff from pre‑construction to construction.

Stay informed on market trends, material pricing, labor conditions, and emerging technologies to improve estimating accuracy and planning quality.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in pre‑construction, estimating, or project management within commercial, industrial, or multifamily construction.

Strong technical understanding of construction methods, cost structures, materials, and scheduling.

Proven ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and engineering documents.

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills; comfortable leading client, design team, and subcontractor meetings.

Proficiency with construction management and estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, On‑Screen Takeoff, Sage, or similar platforms.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Detail‑oriented, analytical, highly organized, and proactive with a collaborative mindset.
