Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Maternal Child Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you are an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in women's health. You will strategically enhance patient and family satisfaction while ensuring cost‑effectiveness. Every day, you will assess patient/family needs, collaborate to plan and evaluate nursing care, and implement coordinated care programs. An expert practitioner, you will optimize nursing practice through direct care delivery, staff development, consultation, and research.
Success in this role demands alignment with organizational values, advanced women’s health expertise, strong nursing process skills, a commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care, and the ability to effectively educate and mentor staff.
All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The CNS is a registered nurse with advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in women’s health nursing. The CNS assesses the needs of patients and families within Women’s Health, assists in planning, execution, and evaluation of nursing care, and ensures the implementation of coordinated, effective care programs. This person is an expert practitioner whose goal is to realize optimum quality nursing practice through direct patient care, clinical staff development, consultation, and research.

Master of Science Nursing, upon hire
Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
BLS, ACLS & PALS, upon hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program, upon hire
Advanced Practice CNS (APRN CNS)
Preferred
Two (2) years of successful experience in Labor & Delivery nursing; theoretical and practical expertise in nursing education
Labor & Delivery Nursing experience
Advanced Fetal Monitoring, AWHONN
