Responsibilities What You’ll Do: As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment.You’lllead therapy groups,facilitateindividualand familysessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative outpatient, andintensive outpatientsettings.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in OP and IOP levels of care

Work in person at ourWashington, DClocation from12:30-8:30 PMwith a flexibleone-dayoptionto work from homedependent on patient needs

Develop andmaintainperson-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations

Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insightandempowerment

Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness

Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care

Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning

Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate

Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP, OP

Complete clinical documentation accurately andtimely

Qualifications What You Bring: You are a thoughtful, clinically strong therapist who values both empathy and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment

Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field

Activeindependentlicensure:

DC: LPC, LMFT, LICSW

Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed careEMDR experience is highly preferred

Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Compensation & Schedule

Salary Range:

$70,000–$105,000 annually

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible foradditionalcommission-based compensation tied to clinical group participation and engagement. Therapists earnadditionalcompensation for each participant in their assigned therapy groups.

Total Compensation: With consistent group census and strong clinical outcomes, total annual compensation is expected to range from $70,000–$105,000, with the potential for high performers to earn more based on group volume and engagement.
