*Position Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented *Drafter* to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our engineers and project managers by producing precise electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD. This role requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and a general understanding of electrical systems.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare and revise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for construction and engineering projects.
* Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field staff to ensure drawings meet project requirements and codes.
* Maintain and organize drawing sets, revisions, and documentation.
* Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and markups accurately.
* Utilize AutoCAD or similar software to create high-quality electrical designs.
* Support coordination between disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural).
* Ensure compliance with NEC, building codes, and company drafting standards.
*Qualifications*
* Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field. (Preferred)
* 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting (construction or engineering industry preferred).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and symbols. (Preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
