Assistant Professor (Experimental Pathology) - Tenure Track Posting Summary The Division of Experimental Pathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks applicants for a tenure‑track appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must hold a PhD. The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent basic research program in the field of cell, molecular, or developmental biology with relevance to human disease. This research program should integrate with existing programs in cell migration, morphogenesis, extracellular matrix, and cytoskeletal/motor protein dynamics. The Division of Experimental Pathology is located on the Busch Campus of Rutgers University within a core of basic science research laboratories and facilities, leading to opportunities for high level team science. Salary Minimum of $114,622. The final salary offer may be determined by several factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Market benchmarks and internal equity are considered to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure.
