Overview
Accounts Payable Clerk position at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo). Center for Bone & Joint Surgery is a multi-location medical practice devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases of the body's musculoskeletal system. Our locations feature a staff of orthopedic surgeons with specific areas of expertise, offering on-site X-ray, on-site MRI, on-site physical therapy, and aquatic therapy. As Center for Bone & Joint Surgery grows, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and outside vendors. Enter check requests. Prepares weekly payables run. Demonstrates knowledge of computer systems to include proficient use of accounting software. Processes invoices for correct account information and dollar amounts. Vendor setup and maintenance. A/P invoice matching and scanning of vendor invoices. Responds to vendor inquiries and processes associated correspondence. Process employee expense reports. Interface with assigned locations to ensure proper coding and accounting for services. Qualifications
Education : High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred. Experience : Minimum of two years experience with accounts payable including experience with accounting software (QuickBooks). Knowledge : Knowledge of accounts payable practices and medical office procedures; knowledge of coding and policies associated with accounts payable; knowledge of Excel and accounting software; knowledge of basic mathematics. Skills : Proficiency in computer applications and software; ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal employees and outside vendors; ability to manage multiple projects and assignments. Abilities : Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures; ability to prepare documents in response to complaints and audits; ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness; ability to communicate effectively with providers, employees and the public; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
