Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a great opportunity to use your hands‑on skills while making a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, flooring, and general repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and promptly address minor issues.
Safely operate hand and power tools as well as other maintenance equipment.
Assist with HVAC upkeep, including regular filter changes.
Support overall facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (nursing home experience preferred).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of painting, plumbing, and general repair work.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Dependable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented.
