Hourly Rate: $29.26 an hour + $0.50 shift differential
As a Maintenance Technician I, you will train to help complete all maintenance on the production lines. You will report to the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Manager. You will work at our Indianapolis Bakery plant, and earn $28.00 per hour.
Job Tasks
Receive training to perform maintenance job duties.
Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and prepare for operations. This includes Preventative Maintenance.
Conduct shift turnovers to coordinate line calls, review assigned maintenance tasks, pending equipment issues, provide assistance to line operations and guide outside contractors.
Review emergency and non-emergency situations and respond.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and install various types of electrical and production equipment.
Support the Conagra Performance System.
Understand blueprints.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks and use maintenance software to ensure an efficient flow of production.
Assist with all repairs.
Provide inputs to supervisors to schedule maintenance.
Qualifications
High School or GED required.
Some maintenance experience required.
Essential Physical and Mental Requirements
Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs frequently during time on duty.
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently.
