Job Description
Join our team as a Product & Test Engineer, where you will be responsible for wafer sort support, engineering change management, and technical problem resolution. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Drives product test yield improvement activities by analyzing and interpreting test data.
Coordinate NPI in pilot production & product transfer, working cross functionally with internal and global teams to meet RENESAS standards.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to support continuous improvement in manufacturing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for low test yield issues, including defining product disposition and corrective actions.
Provide technical support for quality issues by leading or supporting root cause investigations, assessing product and process impact, and collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to implement and verify effective C&PA.
Develop, maintain, and update technical specifications and documentation, including PFMEA and Control Plans.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant experience as a Product Engineer in wafer sort or equivalent semiconductor manufacturing environments. Experience with Teradyne ETS test platforms and TEL probers is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in wafer testing, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within engineering processes.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of RPA tools such as Power Automate, Power BI.
Basic programming skills: C, Python.
