About the Role
The Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) programs within Bilfinger North America. The successful candidate will oversee the administration of HSEQ initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and administer HSEQ programs, ensuring all procedures are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
Collaborate with management to implement safety initiatives and monitor adherence to safety regulations.
Facilitate corporate meetings to discuss HSEQ matters and provide feedback on personnel performance.
Maintain compliance documentation and assist in project management to support operational excellence.
Utilize contractor management software (such as ISNetworld and Avetta) for compliance and documentation management.
Generate and assist in the preparation of reports using Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications.
Required Skills
HSEQ Administration:
Strong understanding of HSE regulations, safety manual procedures, and familiarity with contractor management software.
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with management and staff, facilitating productive discussions.
Preferred Skills
HSEQ Management Software Proficiency:
Experience using systems like ISNetworld and Avetta for compliance tasks.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency:
Proficient in creating and managing spreadsheets, generating reports, and utilizing presentation software.
Organizational Skills:
Capable of maintaining compliance documentation and assisting with project management activities.
Leadership:
Participates in team meetings and provides constructive feedback on team performance.
Certification in HSE Management Systems:
Relevant certifications will be considered advantageous.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in health, safety, environmental, or quality management.
Proven experience in HSEQ roles or similar capacity within construction or maintenance industries.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and HSEQ best practices.
