What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and maintain a clinical pharmacy practice to optimize safe and effective medication therapy
Review infusion treatment plans for appropriateness and dosing based on patient documentation and guidelines
Coordinate pre‑infusion medications, labs, and vaccinations, ensuring compliance with payor requirements
Participate in protocol and order set development, formulary management, and cost‑savings initiatives
Provide education and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapy
What is Required (Qualifications):
Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy Degree
PGY1 residency training or 3 years of applicable experience
Current Arkansas licensure or eligibility for licensure
Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and medication therapy management
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and provide patient‑centered care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
5 years of previous ambulatory, clinical, or infusion care experience
Experience coordinating outpatient infusion therapy
Familiarity with formulary management and drug utilization reviews
Strong communication skills and experience in patient education
