Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, & Treasurer

BankGloucester, a trusted financial institution serving the Cape Ann community since 1887, is seeking a seasoned and strategic financial executive to join our senior leadership team. As Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, & Treasurer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding long-term planning and capital management.

Your Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and treasury management.

Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and the Bank’s investment portfolio.

Produce accurate and timely Board, regulatory, ALCO, and budget reports.

Oversee interest ‑ rate risk and liquidity modeling and coordinate reports with consultants.

Manage internal audits, prepare responses, and track remediation.

Partner with the President & CEO to build annual budgets, multi ‑ year forecasts, and financial models for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of progressive, collaborative leadership experience in banking or financial services.

Deep knowledge of GAAP, ALCO, and state and federal banking regulations.

Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at the executive and board levels.

Strategic mindset with strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
