Overview
We are looking for a Concrete Laborer to join our team. You must have at least one year of construction experience, preferably working with concrete. Our ideal candidate is proficient with industry tools and must communicate effectively on a team. Because this job is physically demanding, you must have good physical stamina, the endurance to work in all weather conditions, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds. Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr Responsibilities
Working hours are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday (subject to change due to project demands, weather, etc.), with a lunch break. Must be willing to work overtime, standby, and some weekends. Regularly required to stand. Perform heavy physical labor, including lifting and moving up to 50 lbs regularly and more than 100 lbs occasionally. Climb, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, carry, drag, balance, push, and/or pull as part of daily tasks. Shovel dirt or concrete for extended periods. Work outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes; occasional loud noise. Grade out and form for proper thickness and accurate concrete yields. Wear safety equipment (PPE) at all times, including hard hats, safety vest, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, back support belts, seats belts, and respirator mask when cutting concrete. Maintain good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and balance. Read and understand warning signs and labels and interpret plans, drawings, written instructions, and specifications. Work as part of a team, especially when using power tools. Take pride in work and keep tools clean at the end of each day. Minimum requirements
