Purpose of Position The Travel Coordinator’s primary function is to independently book domestic travel for NetJets employees and contracted vendors in compliance with department processes, policies, service levels and guidelines. The Travel Coordinator communicates and collaborates effectively with peers regarding crew and administrative travel. Maintains and strengthens internal and external partnership relationships.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Understands and enforces NetJets Travel Policy/ Travel Guidelines, pilot union agreements and supplier agreements.

Actively monitors workflow and day-to-day tasks working independently and within team environment.

Interprets and communicates components of the pilot labor agreement.

Collaborates with all business entities, especially operations teams, on proactive travel support.

Provide subject matter guidance / training to Travel Coordinator, Associate or other employees/suppliers as needed.

Under general supervision, learn how to book and support international bookings.

Identifies and resolves complex problems and issues in collaboration with supervisor or other peers.

Manage special tasks / projects as assigned.

Certifications and Licenses Years of Experience 2-4 years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

Graduate of accredited travel school or bachelor’s degree preferred

Prior GDS experience preferred

Working knowledge of MS office

Ability to work under pressure and in crisis situations

Strong sense of fiscal responsibility and budget management

Must cultivate a collaborative environment, building team rapport and partnerships by modeling respect, helpfulness, commitment, enthusiasm, and integrity

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Sound leadership and interpersonal skills

Maintain professional demeanor in person, via email and via phone

Service oriented approach when interacting with all customers

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage and adapt to frequent changes

Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations
