Job Summary and Qualifications Full time (Monday‑Friday, days). No nights, no on‑call, no weekends, no holidays.

We are seeking a Surgery Scheduler who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. The Scheduler works closely with practice staff and facility staff to coordinate surgical schedules and anesthesia coverage, verify credentialing, and support provider clinic and facility schedules.

What you will do in this role

Obtain CPT and ICD‑10 Diagnosis codes and other clinical information required for patient treatment from practice staff and coordinate with coders.

Determine OR time needed for procedures and work with facility to schedule procedures and streamline daily schedule, arranging necessary anesthesia coverage.

Verify and confirm physician credentialing at the facility before scheduling patients.

Ensure efficient coordination of provider clinic and facility schedule, including awareness of provider schedule, provider time‑out, travel, meetings, conferences and continuing medical education.

Support and adhere to HCA Code of Conduct, related ethics and compliance policies, and HIPAA requirements.

What Qualifications you will need

High school diploma preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, ambulatory surgery center, hospital or doctor’s office preferred.

BLS may be required as per practice standard.
