We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
in
Hialeah ,
FL 33018
with
$18/hr. pay
for a 3-
month contract, temp to hire opportunity . This role plays a key part in warehouse duties including receiving and processing material, picking, packing, shipping, solving discrepancies.

Work Schedule 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Dress Code Pants, shirt, and steel toe shoes or boots are required during all working hours.
Required PPE (i.e. steel toe shoes, etc.) Steel toe boots
Key Responsibilities
Safely load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift.
Accurately check and receive inbound shipments, verifying materials against purchase orders.
Inspect product packaging for quality and completeness.
Build and break down pallets as needed.
Restock inventory neatly and efficiently in designated areas.
Use an RF scanner to scan barcodes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform basic math operations (add/subtract units of measure).
Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift (required for trailer loading/unloading).
Prior experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
