Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Inventory Clerks/Problem Solvers in Port Deposit, Maryland.
Salary and Shift
Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
Schedule: Third Shift Wednesday 12:00 am – 6:00 am, Thursday–Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
Willingness to operate PIT equipment; job may require operating a high‑reach order picker up to 30 feet

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
Recognize and read location, date, and product codes
Work independently and as a member of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment
Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) – beginner level
Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
Safety Sensitive Position, Non‑Regulated Tech – may be required to operate and be equipment certified
Important Note
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
Participate in physical inventories as necessary
Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
Perform other duties as assigned
