Get to Know Your Team:
Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square‑foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting‑edge technology, and patient‑focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Responsibilities The Registered Nurse—Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit
Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license
Current BLS certification
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)
PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)
Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training
Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)
Ability to manage a patient’s airway including use of mechanical ventilation.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
