Process Engineer role available in Somerset, NJ. Responsibilities
Resp for assisting w/ the implmtn of new machines & technologies in the mfg of Bone Anchored Hearing Devices (BAHS). Resp for contributing to the dsgn & modification of existing production processes in line w/ dvlpmt of new BAHS products. Support new product research & dvlpmt by conducting Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential operational failures rltd to the co.'s mfg processes & possible vulnerabilities in productivity, qlty, & safety. Help create training curricula & assist w/ providing instruction on various industrial & operational processes. Help conduct product/process commissioning & provide engg support for existing processes. Collaborate w/ engg & tech'l support teams in the creation of technically feasible prototypes & test samples to meet consumer & operational objectives. Dsgn, dvlp, & test techniques to accurately assess product & process performance specs at the direction of mfg mgrs. Perform other, similar rltd tasks as necessary. Qualifications
Must have at least a HS diploma or GED & must have 1 yr prior F/T employment as a Process Engineer or a similar rltd field. Alternate reqmts: Must have at least a Bachelor's Deg in Robotics Engg, Electrical Engg, or other similar, rltd field such as Mechanical Engg, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engg, plus at least 1 yr of prior F/T employment exp as a Technical Support Engineer, or Process Engineer, or a similar occupation rltd to medical device mfg; OR, in lieu of Bachelor's Deg, must have at least 3 yrs of prior F/T employment exp as a Technical Support Engineer, or Process Engineer, or a similar occupation rltd to medical device mfg; OR any suitable combination of education, training, or exp is acceptable. Compensation & Benefits
